Within 5 days of her birth, doctors realised that Lana had Malonic Aciduria, a rare metabolic disorder with only 50 or so other cases worldwide.
The diagnosis was so important for Lana, who needs a special diet to live and which helps her to do all the things she loves… things like dancing, gymnastic, painting – and the colour green!
“Thinking about it now brings tears to my eyes. I’m incredibly thankful she’s alive,” says Lana’s mum Danielle.
